No photos on the healthy start breakfast. I'll start with the State Capitol Building.
During our visit, we watched them setting up for the inauguration the upcoming Tuesday. 'Them' were inmates from the Dept. of Corrections.
We saw where Huey Long was assassinated and visited the 27th floor observatory. We looked out across Baton Rouge and the ugly Mississippi River.

After the state capitol building tour, we headed down to tour the USS KIDD. Low and behold, the USS KIDD was right across from the Centroplex where the Kingfish play. And wouldn't you know it, the Grrrowl bus was parked right out in front. I, of course, had to take a snap shot.
Here's the Centroplex with the Grrrowl bus in front. I'm thinking the Grrrowl players may have been practicing. That's just a guess on my part.
This is the plaque I passed when boarding the USS KIDD. A lot has happened in this world since then.
